Student living on her own

Ok..i can easily go into the 101 quirky things about being a med student (drinks more coffee than water, realized WW3 ocurred once it passed, socail isolation from all you non-med student friends), but im sure most of you have gotton the forward :)
Moving on..i present to you some of the fun facts of living on your own:

* dishes: its been a whole new world. And yet some sort of grotesque inaugurationto adulthood (???) ... i'll leave it at that

* sad but true...that episode of Scrubs when they steal the pudding nailed it. I must admit with a tight budget per week and the sight of that darn brown cardboard roll starring you down as you contemplete whether to use you last few bills on the most logical purchase...or save it in case u decied to go out for a 'promo' with the guys after class. Tricky tricky...somehow considering to "borrow" some from the university 'since its already part of your tuition fees' or taking a few extra squares from that very bar (paying costumer! hellooo!)...makes alot more sense

by the way..i never buy mayonnaise or ketchup: thats what those little packets are for at fast food chains :) (There is a large bag in my fridge, amongst taco bell hot sauce of course)

* Canned tuna was first produced in 1903, and quickly became popular...and im sure mostly by the dear academic crowd. My appreciation for the Thunnus genus has certainly rised once i have found myself with limited kitchen supplies as well as non existent time to cook to begin with. Im not going to bore u with my ramble on my beloved tuna...but i will add it can be mighty entertaining in the supermarket acting like "Bubba" from Forrest Gump: " Smoked tuna, jalapeno tuna, garlic tuna, diet tuna, Oregano tuna, tuna salad, tuna with palmito...

*the list will continue
